When the Coronavirus pandemic hit, we had to close our offices and much of our activity was postponed. However, our commitment to inspiring communities, developing writers and celebrating Wales’ literary culture remained as strong as ever.

We needed to develop a way to ensure that we could continue to support freelance writers, and provide activity which could help tackle loneliness and isolation, or entertain, inspire and educate creative audiences, early career writers, children and participants across Wales.

We offered a series of commissions for writers and workshop facilitators. Three rounds have been delivered thus far, and we are currently inviting expressions of interest for the 4th round (deadline: Monday 21 March)

Find out more about the work created through round 1, 2 and 3 of the commissions, and read our call-out for the 4th round below.
