Lead artist: Sian Northey

Digital platform: Digital resources

Project Information:

The aim of the project is to provide a Welsh-language resource to help those who want to lead creative writing workshops in health and well-being contexts.

About Sian:

Sian Northey is a writer, editor or translator of 17 books – ranging from children’s novel to poetry. Her most recent book is Perthyn (Gomer Press, 2019) and her latest collection of short stories will be published by Gwasg y Bwthyn later this year. She also regularly runs workshops for children and adults and has worked with various organisations and settings such as HMP Berwyn Prison, Disability Arts Cymru, people living with dementia, schools for children with disabilities and people living with addiction.

“I know how much I’ve benefited from things such as John Killick’s workshops and being a member of Lapidus – and it’s important that Welsh poets and writers are able to access support through the medium of Welsh and in a Welsh context.” – Sian Northey
