‘Write at Home’ was a series of 15 short videos featuring creative writing activities using everyday household items. Each video demonstrated a creative activity to fire off writing and includes suggestions for developing your ideas further.

About Claire

Claire Boot lives in Penarth. A writer with a passion for creative community projects, Claire facilitates school workshops for the re-established Penrhys Pilgrimage Way, an ancient footpath between Cardiff and Penrhys in the Rhondda. She is currently devising a site-specific story walk on Barry Island as part of Barry–Making Waves, a Heritage Lottery Fund Great Place project. Claire’s recent work has been published in National Flash Fiction Day and Bath Flash Fiction Award anthologies, performed in new writing nights at The Other Room in Cardiff, and recorded for three animations by Big Start Assemblies.

“Even if you’re stuck at home, you don’t need to be stuck for writing ideas! Have you ever written on a banana? What about asking a chair where it would like to go? Discover surprising springboards for inspiring creativity in the everyday world around you, and explore how to channel that inspiration into all sorts of wonderful words.” – Claire Boot
