National Slate Museum

The National Slate Museum in Llanberis vividly recreates the story of the Welsh Slate Industry. Set in the original quarry workshops, the museums lets you discover how people lived and worked in the slate quarrying communities of Wales in the past.

Snowdonia National Park

Situated on the west coast of Britain covering 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, Snowdonia National Park is a living working area, home to over 26,000 people. As well as being the largest National Park in Wales, Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain and the largest natural lake in Wales, as well as a wealth of picturesque villages like Betws y Coed and Beddgelert. Snowdonia is an area steeped in culture and local history, where more than half its population speak Welsh.

S4C is a Welsh language television channel who transmit live between 6 in the morning and late at night. It is also possible to watch their programmes and videos on other digital platforms at times that suit you.

There is a very wide range of programmes on S4C including news, drama, documentaries, music, entertainment and children programmes. The content on the web includes a short form service, aimed mainly at a 16-34-year-old audience and is called Hansh.
