Kestrel Morton is bringing a unique blend of storytelling, local traditions and folklore to our beauftiful barn, with a day and evening packed full of spring celebrations for Calan Mai, with music by Heulwen Williams. In the day, we’ll have a host of family friendly activities including Maypole dancing* and the Battle of the Seasons, interwoven with songs and stories

CONVERSATIONS AT THE CHAPEL – ABERGAVENNY – SUE PRIDEAUX – TUESDAY 6 MAY – 7.30 PM An evening about the art and craft of biography with the award-winning author Sue Prideaux. Her latest book is Wild Thing – A Life of Paul Gauguin, a vital re-examination of this trailblazing and controversial artist. ‘A brilliantly readable and compassionate study of Gauguin’.
