Dan is a writer, director, filmmaker, actor and musician, although not necessarily at the same time. His prose has appeared in publications such as Litro, his award-winning short films have screened at international festivals and he has toured the world in various critically acclaimed shows, some of which he has helped to write and create.
Currently he is trying to find a publisher for his debut novel Wolves (a multi-stranded story set against the climate crisis), while beginning development on his second which is set shortly after the First World War. His story for younger readers, which he also illustrated – Strange Head Fred – has been published by Saron.
Until recently, Dan was Head of Film for Hijinx, where he worked for 11.5 years. He is passionate about inclusion, the environment and ice cream. He lives in Cardiff with his wife, daughter and dog.
