Gwenno is an author and poet who enjoys writing in both Welsh and English, and often in a combination of both. Her debut novel, V+Fo (Gwasg y Bwthyn), has been praised for breaking new ground due to its use of both languages, and won both the People’s Choice award and the fiction category at the Welsh Book of the Year awards in 2025.
Her poems have been published by Poetry Wales, Cyhoeddiadau’r Stamp and Arachne Press, among others. She is part of Literature Wales’ Representing Wales 25/26 cohort and is also a member of Dyffryn Ogwen’s writing group, Diosg.
