Wyn is originally from the village of Llanfarian, Ceredigion, but has lived in Cardiff for decades. After studying Fine Art at university, he followed a career as a television director, a lecturer and more recently as a playwright. He has a Creative Writing PhD from Swansea University. His first publication was the graphic novel, Gwlad yr Asyn, adapted from his stage play. It was shortlisted for the 2023 Tir na n‐Og Award, secondary school category. He is currently writing short stories both in Welsh and in English.
