Stephanie Burgis grew up in Michigan, USA, but has lived in Wales since 2009 with her husband and two sons, surrounded by mountains, castles and coffee shops. She is the author of several sparkling fantasy rom-coms for adults, most recently the Queens of Villainy trilogy for Tor UK, and her novel Wooing the Witch Queen was named Waterstones Welsh Book of the Month. She also writes fun MG fantasy adventures and has published right so far, most recently The Raven Throne (Bloomsbury). She has had over forty short stories for adults and teens published in various magazines and anthologies.
