I’m a full-time professional writer and a member of the SoA and SCWBI. I write MG/YA/crossover fiction, and film and tv scripts, plus non-fiction (10 books and counting) and journalism in the field of environmental solutions. I created the Marvel Universe, Earth 616, in which most Marvel stories are now set. I’ve edited and written comics and graphic novels also for HarperCollins, Vortex and Titan. As well as my prize-winning YA SF novel Hybrids (HarperCollins), I have been on a few Hay Festival panels for my YA novel Stormteller (Cambria) and other climate fiction. Having co-founded the London Screenwriters Workshop, I also work as an editor and writing tutor for The Society of Authors and Literature Wales, among others.
