Biography

Jeremy Veale, is an ordained Reverend, writer, graphic designer and motion designer whose work spans children’s literature, nonfiction, cultural history and mystery fiction.

His books include The Men Who Owned Midnight: The Rise and Fall of Late-Night Television in America; Aero & Dash, supporting the Wales Air Ambulance; Wrinkles & Ruffles; Narrowboat Living; The Soul of Welsh Farming and Home for Spies.

Drawing on a background in creative broadcast media & visual storytelling, Jeremy is interested in the people, institutions, and communities that shape everyday life.

His work explores subjects as varied as television history, rural culture, waterways, emergency services, and espionage, always with a focus on the human stories behind them.

Based in Swansea, Wales, he continues to write across multiple genres while working in design and visual media.

When not thinking up ideas and writing, Jeremy likes to volunteer, help others, play golf and hone his drumming skills.
