I am a neuro-diverse Cardiff-born author living in North Wales. I have been writing stories since I was five years old and knew I wanted to work as a novelist at age six. Regularly engrossed in reading at the dinner table, I needed to be prised away from my novel each night so that my bedroom light could be switched off.
After working in professional development for over thirty years, I now write first world war fiction. My well researched, historically accurate stories are set on the home front in Cymru and focus on the courage and resilience of Welsh women and returning veterans, as well as the plight and heroism of soldiers at the front. My first novel Poppies Grow on Broken Ground is endorsed by Dafydd Iwan and my second, In Good Faith, will be published in November 2026. Firelight, At The Front</> and No Man’s Land follow, as sister novels.
