Welsh author Luisa A. Jones crafts poignant, emotional fiction featuring characters that readers “root for from the first page.” Her narratives explore love, loss, and family life, all rooted in the landscape and culture of Wales.
Luisa’s historical fiction has earned her a reputation for evocative, immersive period storytelling. She has been invited to speak at industry events, including the Newport Festival of Words and the Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) Conference, as well as delivering online training and coaching sessions to authors for the RNA and the History Quill.
She is a member of the Society of Authors, the Historical Writers’ Association, and the Romantic Novelists’ Association. Her writing was shortlisted for the RNA’s Saga Romance of the Year Award in 2026 and the Elizabeth Goudge Trophy in 2024.
When she isn’t writing, Luisa enjoys exploring Europe with her husband in “Gwynnie,” their classic 1974 VW camper van.
