Biography

Eben is an emerging writer from Dyffryn Nantlle, with interests and writing features ranging from nature, to video games, to Welsh politics, to sport, to literature reviews.

His words have featured in magazines such as ‘Climber’, ‘Viewpoint’, TGO, and the Institute of Welsh Affairs’ ‘Welsh Agenda’. He has been a regular contributor to the UK’s leading climbing news and commentary website, UKClimbing.com, Caught by the River, and is a Guardian Country Diarist.

He’s currently working on a long-term creative non-fiction project focus on Welsh land and communities.

When he’s not writing, he works as a campaigner and policy specialist for the British Mountaineering Council in Wales, can be found volunteering for Tir Natur (Wales’ largest rewilding project), or as an ambassador for the Campaign for National Parks, or working as a freelance sustainability researcher and translator.
