Group Aims

To provide opportunities for lifelong learning through study of poetry.
To improve quality of life by supporting activities that promote mental and emotional well-being through poetry.
To support fellow members by responding positively to, and respecting ownership of, their work.
To support activities which develop skills and creativity in writing and performance of poetry.
To promote good relations between communities of Wales and England on the North Wales border through shared literary events.
To support projects aiming to celebrate the heritage and identity of the region through poetry.
To take forward the use and enjoyment of poetry in local areas and, by so doing, contribute to the Poetry Society’s mission.

Membership Criteria

Currently, new members wishing to join must be members of The Poetry Society.
