Schools should follow the following steps to organise workshops and apply for funding through the Cymru Ni / Our Wales scheme: 

1. Find a writer to deliver a workshop. Writers of colour who lead innovative and engaging school workshops can be found on our Writers of Wales Directory, or feel free to contact a writer you have worked with in the past, or who have been recommended to you.
2. Organise a date and time with the writer, and agree their overall fee for the workshop. Please see our webpage Advice for Event Organisers for guidance on writers’ fees. Please note, workshops should be booked to take place before the end of March 2023.
3. Apply for 50% funding through our Inspiring Communities Fund Application Form. Please write Cymru Ni / Our Wales Workshop in the field named “Event Title” on the online application form.
4. Await confirmation from Literature Wales. We will contact you once your application has been received to provide information on the next steps.
