Welcoming the Kathod to Tŷ Newydd
Today, Literature Wales and the Kathod project are delighted to announce the names of the 10 participants who have been selected to attend our Kathod retreat.

The aim of the retreat is to weave music and spoken word together in an exciting, modern and innovative way. This Welsh-language retreat for women and individuals from a marginalised gender runs from Friday 23 February – Tuesday 27 February.

The artists will enjoy sessions from a variety of experts including the award-winning producer, Branwen Munn, the poet and multidisciplinary artist, Rufus Mufasa, Cardiff-born spoken word artist, Jaffrin Khan, and the Welsh music icon, Pat Morgan. The Kathod co-ordinators, Heledd Watkins, Bethan Mai, Catrin Morris, Tegwen Bruce-Deans and Llio Maddocks, will also be on-hand throughout the week to support and facilitate creative sessions and discussions.

The artists attending the retreat are Catrin Herbert, clare e. potter, Elan Rhys, Elen Ifan, Kayley Roberts, Keziah, Melda Lois, Martha Owen, Megg Lloyd and Nia Jones. We look forward to inviting all Kathod to Tŷ Newydd!
