Virtual Programme for Writer Development in Wales
Literature Wales is proud to launch a new programme of free virtual talks designed to inspire writers and deepen their knowledge of the literary and publishing landscape in Wales.

The programme will feature a series of webinars which will run during autumn, with audiences invited to take part in the conversations by submitting questions to a panel of experts. Half of the series has now been announced, with further events set to be revealed over the next couple of months.

Open to everyone and free to attend, the webinars will bring together editors, publishers, successful authors and professionals working across the literature and publishing industries in Wales and beyond. The sessions will offer practical advice and insights for writers at different stages of their careers, with a particular focus on emerging and mid-career writers.

The programme marks the second series of webinars from Literature Wales. Following the success of last year’s programme, the organisation continues to respond to the needs and interests of writers with a series of sessions offering further opportunities to develop skills, deepen knowledge and explore new areas of practice.

The events will also introduce audiences to some of Literature Wales’ flagship projects and programmes, offering a glimpse of the support available to writers and an insight into how the organisation can help guide them throughout their literary journeys.

With a mixture of practical advice, industry expertise and opportunities to engage directly with leading figures in the literary world, the webinar series aims to give writers the knowledge, confidence and connections they need to take the next step in their careers.
