Tender Opportunity – Structural Works at Tŷ Newydd, Llanystumdwy

Literature Wales is inviting tenders for a package of structural repair and associated conservation works at Tŷ Newydd, Llanystumdwy, a Grade II listed building*.

The works principally involve structural repairs and strengthening within and around the Library, together with associated opening-up, making good and conservation works.

The anticipated programme is:

· Tender issue: Week commencing 5 October 2026

· Start on site: 1 December 2026

· Completion: 29 January 2027

Given the constrained programme and nature of the works, tenderers will be required to demonstrate that they have the appropriate resources, experience and capacity to deliver the works within the required timeframe. Programme and resource management will form part of the qualitative assessment and will be submitted alongside the cost submission.

Contractors with appropriate experience of structural and conservation works within historic/listed buildings who are interested in receiving the tender information are invited to register their interest.
