Join internationally recognised Bee Gees historians and authors Andrew Môn Hughes and Grant Walters for a special evening celebrating the launch of DECADES: The Bee Gees in the 1980s at Bragdy Cybi, Holyhead.

Following the exclusive V.I.P. Reception earlier in the day, this public event offers fans and music lovers the opportunity to discover the story behind the latest volume in the acclaimed DECADES series. Continuing the journey through the Bee Gees’ extraordinary career, the book explores one of the group’s most creative and fascinating decades, drawing on years of detailed research and previously untold stories.

Held on the eve of Barry Gibb’s 80th birthday, the evening will celebrate not only the publication of the new book but also the remarkable legacy of the Bee Gees. Andrew and Grant will discuss the research behind the project, share stories from the making of the book, and answer questions from the audience.

The evening will include a special birthday celebration for Barry, with cake and a chance for everyone to join together in singing “Happy Birthday” – in both English and Welsh – in recognition of this landmark occasion.

Hosted in Holyhead, Andrew Môn Hughes’ hometown, this special event is part of the international launch celebrations for DECADES: The Bee Gees in the 1980s, ahead of further events in Manchester, Liverpool, Tewkesbury and Thame.

Everyone is invited to share an evening of conversation, music, memories and celebration of one of popular music’s most successful and influential groups.
