To celebrate St Dwynwen’s Day, the Welsh day of love, Cardiff-based publisher Graffeg and Wales Millennium Centre have co-produced a special Family Cwtch Day of free activities exploring the world of cwtch in the Glanfa space on Saturday 25 January from 11am-2pm.

The Alive & Kickin’ Community Choir will be singing traditional and modern love songs in Welsh and English along with interactive workshops for all the family with author Sarah KilBride and art activities for children.

All activities have been inspired by A Cuddle and a Cwtch, a delightful illustrated picture book by Sarah KilBride and James Munro that celebrates the concept of cwtch, sharing its healing, human warmth. Sarah will also be signing copies of her book.

Sarah KilBride is a trained actress, teacher, workshop leader and the author of ten picture books in the Princess Evie series, as well as four Evie fiction books for older readers. The Princess Evie series have been translated into 17 languages, including Welsh, Arabic, Norwegian, French and Mandarin, with sales of over one million books. Sarah’s latest title, Being a Princess is Very Hard Work, was published by Bloomsbury in 2018. Sarah lives in the Black Mountains in mid Wales. www.sarahkilbride.com
