
Writing the Climate, the Climate of Writing
Literature Across Frontiers and Wales Literature Exchange are pleased to announce a visit to Wales by the award-winning Quebecois author Christian Guay-Poliquin as part of a collaboration project with Montreal’s Metropolis Bleu Festival supported by the Welsh Government. Writing the Climate, the Climate of Writing is a series of three live events that have emerged from our collaboration with the Metropolis Bleu Festival in Montreal that brings together Christian Guay-Poliquin with the Welsh author and scriptwriter Fflur Dafydd to reflect on our relationship with nature and its impact on the environment and appear together in their respective home locations. In Aberystwyth Christian will be in conversation with the novelist Siân Melangell Dafydd about writing in a minoritized language and about how of the language movement in Quebec has shaped culture in the province and the vibrant city of Montreal.
