She will host poetry workshops and performances in Llangollen and Wrexham, connecting existing groups to foster a shared sense of the Dee as a cultural space. Creatively, Natasha will combine poetry, prose, audio, and live performance, incorporating Wenglish and local dialects, and draw inspiration from slow travel along the river by foot, public transport, and where possible, by water.

Natasha Borton is a writer and facilitator from Wrexham. Her work is rooted in community, through writing, performance and facilitation and draws inspiration from our local stories to connect communities. She won the Poetry Wales Second Award (2025), co-won the Coracle Europe Fringe Slam (2025), and is the Artistic Director of Voicebox Wxm. Natasha has performed at festivals, venues and events across the UK, including Focus Wales, Get a Word in Edgeways, Everyman Playhouse, Wales Millennium Centre, Lush!, The Lowry and Roundhouse London. Her commissioned work includes projects with Donmar Warehouse, Dirty Protest Theatre, Chester Pride, Wrexham Poverty Action Group and Tŷ Pawb.
