Do you have a desire to write for children but feel unsure of how to go about it? Are you looking for inspiration, or have you hit a wall with your creative project? Join one of Wales’ most experienced and brightest children’s authors, Angharad Tomos as she hosts a lively, interactive and informative session.

This is the third workshop in a series of free online taster sessions offered as part of the upcoming Representing Wales writer development programme. Find out more about Representing Wales and how to submit your application here.

The workshop will include writing exercises to help you craft the opening of your book and create vivid characters that will appeal to children. Angharad will also share her experiences as a children’s author, and offer advice to emerging writers who are just beginning their journey.

You will leave the workshop with new ideas and writing methods, and feel more confident in proceeding with your story.

Members of the Literature Wales team will also be on-hand at the end of the workshop to answer your questions about the Representing Wales programme and the application process.

Please note: You will need to register in advance for this workshop.
