What does it mean to be a young Somali person living in Wales today?

Film screening of interviews with Somali seamen’s wives – produced by Umulkhayr Mohamed.

Intergenerational Q&A with Somali elders and Museum Young Heritage Leaders.

Short film looking at Welsh Somali history – produced by the Horn Development Association.

 

3pm– 3.30pm (Lecture Theatre)

Talk by Hamish Wilson (Degmo: The Centre for Rural Culture and Development).

 

3.40pm – 4pm (Lecture Theatre)

Closing remarks and poetry reading by Aly Goolyad.
