This month Monmouth welcomes agent Broo Doherty for an informal Q&A on agenting and publishing practice.

We would like your questions and will focus the talk around them, so please send these in when you RSVP.

This will be a popular event, so please email host Margaret Iggulden (three.oakleaves@gmail.com) to reserve your place and bring £2.50 cash, payable on the door, to cover tea and biscuits.

Broo Doherty graduated from Downing College Cambridge and then started working in publishing, where she has worked for the last twenty years. She has worked right across the board in publishing houses and as an agent. She handles all genres, excluding children’s books, screenplays and sci-fi, but particularly enjoys crime, women’s commercial fiction, literary fiction and quirky non-fiction. In 2017 she was voted Literary Agent of the Year at the Royal Novelist’s Association.

Monmouth Group meet-ups are monthly events (usually the first Friday of the month) where attendees can discuss their work and publishing practice. Meets are open to the public and you are welcome to bring guests.
