Ysgrifennu’r Llif/Writing the Flow is a proposed 3-hour, bilingual workshop which will take place in Llangoed, Ynys Môn on March 28th/29th to coincide with Llwybr Cerfluniau Aberlleiniog Sculpture Trail. The workshop is designed to be accessible and enriching for all levels, welcoming both beginners and experienced writers and will encourage participants to share their own unique voices.
It will be led by poets/authors Sian Northey and Ness Owen, co-editors of the bilingual anthologies: Afonydd: Poems for Welsh Rivers / Cerddi Afonydd Cymru and A470: Poems for the Road/ Cerddi’r Ffordd.
Participants will be guided on a walk from the village of Llangoed alongside Afon Lleiniog to where the river meets the sea. They will take part in various individual or collaborative writing exercises on the way, focusing on the cynefin and the folklore/history of the river.
