Dr Alan Sandry is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy and Strategy at School of Management, Swansea University.

He previously lectured at Cardiff; Cardiff Met; and Regents (London) universities.

He is the editor of Wittgenstein in Swansea: Philosophy and Legacy (University of Wales Press, 2025). His play From Linz to Langland – A Journey with Ludwig Wittgenstein was published by Cambria Publishing in 2024. It received its stage première at Taliesin Theatre, Swansea University on 24th October 2025. This followed a reading of the work at Dylan Thomas Birthplace in April 2024.

His other various publications have included Plaid Cymru: An Ideological Analysis (Welsh Academic Press, 2011) and, co-authored with Terry Stevens, The Spark and a Sense of Wonder (Graffeg, 2025).
