Three Throated Press is a new local micro-publisher and on Saturday 28 September, just a few days before National Poetry Day, independent Bookstore Goldstones will offer the press a platform to launch its books to the reading public. Over the last two years the press has been preparing by producing volumes of poetry from local poets and international translation into English.
Ferryside poet and poetry editor Dominic Williams will be reading poems from his collection “and why we were all going” that are influenced by the landscape and people of Carmarthenshire and beyond. Dominic will also be talking about his work with Sweden and Ireland and how other local writers can become involved in these international initiatives. Dominic will be joined by another local poet, Jackie Biggs, reading from her collection “Breakfast in Bed”.

The other books in this new series include “Rum Dark nights” from Llansteffan poet Mel Perry and English language translations, with a very Welsh flavour, of Swedish cartoonist Frank Bergsten and poet Joakim Becker.
