Rob Mimpriss is the author of four short-story collections – Reasoning, For His Warriors, Prayer at the End, and Pugnacious Little Trolls; the editor of Cockatrice Books; and an occasional critic and translator of Welsh-language literature. He is a contributor to Land of Change, an anthology edited by Gemma June Howell (Culture Matters, 2022) and to Brush With Fate, a selection of Welsh fiction in Arabic translation (Alkawtaka, 2014), and the editor of Dangerous Asylums (North Wales Mental Health Research Project, 2016), an anthology of fiction by Gee Williams, Manon Steffan Ros and others drawing on the history of Denbigh Mental Hospital. He has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate writing courses in Wales and England, and is a member of the Welsh Academy.
