We have the utmost pleasure of presenting the launch of this year’s #SwanseaFringe from the historic Brangwyn Hall. We’ve listened to you, Fringe Folk, and we’ve brought back first year Fringe favourites Afro Cluster to open this year’s festival with true style.

Not only that, but they’ll be joined on the night by some of Wales’ shining stars of the music scene, Glastonbury and Green Man Festival alums, Zervas & Pepper, Cardiff’s Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, fresh from supporting Noel Gallagher‘s High Flying Birds and electrifying the Soccer AM set, and Swansea Music Hub and Horizons / Gorwelion favourites Bandicoot.

What? That’s not enough, you say?

How about we throw in a huge heap of majestic spoken word loveliness for you? Don’t you worry, we’ve got you covered. Joining us on the evening will be Rosie BufMari Ellis Dunning, Rhian Edwards and Swansea’s own Joe Dunthorne.

We’re also putting together a snapshot of artists that you’ll be hearing across the weekend, and you can catch some special, more intimate live performances on the night to whet your appetite for the bonanza of a weekend ahead that we’ve got planned.

Expect Fringey antics, arty activities and more food and drink than you can feasibly consume in an evening, all to mark the occasion and for all ages.

The #SwanseaFringe is back.

More info about the full evening’s festivities to be announced.
