This is a spoken-word open mic event to raise funds for the DEC Ukraine Appeal, Thursday 14th April. Physically we will meet in Castle Inn, Llansteffan and hope that our international friends will join online. All participants are welcome to this hybrid event so please join us in the pub if you can, but you are also welcomed to join online.
The fee to participate either as a reader or an audience member is by a pay-what-you-want basis. You can pay through PayPal on info@write4word.org or you can throw your cash in the bucket that will be there on the night.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused a terrible humanitarian crisis, but we are determined that this event will be a joyful celebration of humanity of local and international community and solidarity.
There is no set theme and we welcome all forms of spoken-word, poetry, flash fiction, monologue, comedy … but please limit your performance to 3 minutes. If you would like to confirm your slot, please email me on mel@write4word.org
