Poetry Film Launch: Fragments of Us
This celebration event will include a ‘private view’ film screening, with options to contribute your own creative response (if you wish), some ekphrastic and meta-ekphrastic poetry readings, and a short Q&A.
‘Fragments of Us’ combines poetry with a focus on the process of making, reflecting on the creativity of museum visitors who responded to an interactive poetry display that took place at National Museum Cardiff in 2022. This poetry-film incorporates some of the original words taken from museum visitors’ texts, linking them together in a way that explores the collaborative nature of this ongoing ekphrastic conversation.
