All welcome at this reading by Joe Dunthorne from his new book of poems, O Positive (Faber and Faber).

Joe Dunthorne was born and brought up in Swansea. He studied Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia (UEA). Dunthorne began writing his first novel, Submarine (2008), during the final year of his BA. This went on to become a highly successful feature film of the same name, directed by Richard Ayoade, and was translated into twelve languages. The book also won the Curtis Brown Award, was shortlisted for the Wodehouse Prize and Commonwealth Writers Prize and longlisted for the Wales Book of the Year and the Desmond Elliot Prize. In 2010 his first poetry collection was published in the Faber New Poets series. His second novel, Wild Abandon (2011), won the Encore Prize for Best Second Novel of 2011 and was shortlisted for the Wales Book of the Year in 2012. His third novel, The Adulterants, was published in 2018. His new poetry collection, O Positive, was published by Faber & Faber in 2019. Apart from his fiction and poetry, Joe has written occasional articles for the Guardian, Observer, The New York Times and Independent. He lives in London.
