An evening with Peter Finch
Peter Finch at Rhiwbina Library
On 8th April we will welcome Peter Finch as our latest Rhiwbina Library Speaker Event.
A resident of Rhiwbina and supporter of libraries, we are delighted to welcome Peter – a world renowned poet and author of more than 40 books – who is more familiar with the stage at Hay than our little library. He is best known for his series of psychogeographies, alternative guide books and histories of his native city, Real Cardiff. In the 1960s and ’70s he edited the literary magazine, second aeon, exhibited visual poetry and later became well-known for his performance poetry. He ran the Arts Council of Wales bookshop, Oriel, for some years, and was treasurer of the Association of Little Presses.
Peter will be talking about “The Literary Business – Tales from a life on the front line”, his new book which will be published later this year. Get a sneak preview before publication!
Tickets are £2 from the Library or online at: Friends of Rhiwbina Library event tickets from TicketSource.
