Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch is currently working with the Syrian graphic novelist Hamid Sulaiman, who now divides his time between the ‘European comics capital’ Angoulême and Berlin. As part of the project a practical workshop for Welsh authors and artists has been organised with the aim of increasing interest and skills in this field.

The workshops will use Arad Goch’s hard-hitting production of TEMPTED by Mared Llywelyn Williams. The workshop will be in two sessions and will look at the process of adapting a story into a sequence of graphic images. These practical sessions will be held over Zoom; participants will create and develop their own ideas as part of the workshop.

Spaces are limited to 10 people only. The workshop is suitable for experienced artists or students. Contact post@aradgoch.org for more information or to book. The workshop will be held in English. Part 1 – October 8th, 5pm.
Part 2 – October 12th, 5pm.
Cost: £20 (Full price) £10 (Students)

Part of the Literary Europe Live Plus project coordinated by Literature Across Frontiers and cofunded by Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
