Note: access to the Community Centre is by coded lock; arrangements can be made via the contact persons below to meet prospective new members at the entrance.

Every Monday (September to July, except for Bank Holidays)
Day/Time of Meetings
7.00 pm - 9.00 pm
£10 per annum plus £3 per weekly meeting attended (covers tea/coffee, room hire etc)
1. To foster the art of writing in all its forms
2. To provide constructive guidance and assistance to members, particularly but not exclusively with a view to publication.
3. To offer a welcoming and supportive environment to all persons - whether writers or critics, whether experienced or beginners - sympathetic to the Circle’s purposes
Most meetings are ‘Open Manuscripts’ in which members read from and receive feedback on their writing. There are four annual competitions - Short Story, Poetry, Article, Humorous Writing - open only to members.
Note: Prospective new members are invited to attend two meetings free of charge.
