Eric Ngalle Charles selected as one of Jackie Kay’s most exciting BAME writers
This month, Literature Wales Director, Eric Ngalle Charles was selected as one of Jackie Kay’s best of British BAME writers.
The Scots Mackar, Jackie Kay has been invited to curate The International Literature Showcase, which sees six guest curators focus on different aspects of writing from the UK. Jackie Kay has selected 10 of the most exciting and outstanding BAME writers to highlight as part of her invitation.
Three of the writers on the list, Eric Ngalle Charles, Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi and Zaffar Kunial took to the stage with Jackie Kay at Cheltenham Literary Festival to perform and discuss their work.
