Born in London in 1965, David Grant moved to mid Wales in 2007. After university he worked in retail, admin, and enjoyed a brief period in a psychiatric hospital laundry, before finally training as an English teacher in 1996. He taught English in secondary schools for twelve years. Following three years of part-time teaching and part-time writing, David now writes full time. He is the author of a novel, three plays, a number of short stories for developing readers, and several secondary English teaching resources.
