Luned is a dramatist and scriptwriter from Bangor, currently living in Cardiff. Educated at Tryfan High School, Bangor, she graduated in Theatre Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. She won the Drama Medal at the Urdd National Eisteddfod in 1999, 2001 and 2003. In 2002 she was awarded a bursary by S4C to study at the European Film College in Denmark where she concentrated on writing for the screen.

Her previous work include three plays for radio: Cysgu dan y sêr, Ystafell Dywyll and Castell Pawb ei Dŷ, as well as stage plays, such as Meical for Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Stop Ola’ for Cwmni’r Frân Wen. Two of her films have been produced for television.

Her literary works are to be seen regularly in various publications, including Taliesin and Barn. Luned has a participatory interest in New Media, and has co-led workshops in Digital Storytelling – a form of storytelling that empowers people to share personal stories on the internet.

Luned was appointed the first President of Creative Gwynedd and is a member of the Management Board of Literature Wales and the Artistic sub-committee of Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru.
