After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Law, Bryce became increasingly disillusioned with the British legal system, and hankered after the life he remembered as a boy growing up in the North of England. These memories drove him to follow in his father's footsteps, and he began making a living off the land as an arable and beef farmer. This vocation inevitably fosters close links between man and nature, and Bryce developed a deep fascination with these relationships. It is this deep interest and Bryce’s love of nature, coupled with the vivid recollection of family tales told to him as a child, that fuels his imagination and passion for story-telling.
Bryce was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire and moved to Wales in 1976 to take up farming. He farmed in Llanelli until he retired early in 2005. He now writes and promotes his work full time.

Rhamin (Thomas Hamilton & Co., 2010)
This story is not only about Rhamin, the black wolf, who vividly remembers the time when his mother was pursued and killed by men, but also about many other key characters. It follows the harmonies and the rivalries that emerge within the whole wolf pack; their unity in the battle with Bortag the bear to save old Zelda and the cubs; and the discord caused by the disloyalty of Solin, Rhamin’s half brother. Raymond is the farmer who first kills wolves when they kill his sheep but later makes his peace with Rhamin, whereas Petersen is the man who repays the wolves with treachery.
Lexa is the dog pup, stolen by Rhamin as a diversion during the raid on Raymond’s farm, and who is reared by the pack as a wolf, and Corvak is a wily old raven who becomes Rhamin’s spy. Rasci, on the other hand, is a clown of a wolf who none of the pack has ever taken seriously. But it is he who discovers that he is able to communicate with Ben, the farmer’s six year old son. When Rhamin suddenly disappears, it is Rasci and Ben who unravel what is really happening. Knowing the answer, however, is not solving the problem. Their real troubles begin when, together, Rasci and Ben attempt to do something about it.

Lucy Lockhart: The Awakening (Thomas Hamilton & Co., 2011)
A Teenage Adventure Thriller: After Lucy's accident she discovers she has certain skills and knowledge that she is told she didn't have before.
Her new found friend Loanne, on the other hand was born with some, not unusual, paranormal gifts, but when she is in danger or angry, she can turn her abilities to the darker side.
When they are both in critical danger, the mix and match of their talents, instead of extricating them from the situation, initially leads them into greater peril. Lucy Lockhart is a story of exploration and discovery so full of danger, excitement, fear and drama that it will change the lives of both the girls, and everybody close to them, for ever.
