Reviews:
With respect to Ceiliogod Otse / The Cockerels of Otse (Gwasg Carreg Gwalch, 1996)
"…We move from one language to the other without feeling awkward at all,- indeed the one enriches the other…and we should be grateful for the exceptional skill of Huw Jones in both languages. This enabled him to keep the readers’ interest through various medium and two languages. The poet’s voice in ‘Sarah’ at the beginning of the book is as powerfully moving in ‘Llun o Josephine / Photograph of Josephine’ which closes the book…"
Meg Ellis, Taliesin Spring 1997
With respect to Odd Socks and Other Oddities (Gwasg y Bwthyn, 2009)
"...Odd Socks is an outstanding volume, funny, resourceful and warm-hearted..."
