DAVIES, JOANNA
Joanna hails from Cwm Gwendraeth in Carmarthenshire. She attended Maes-Yr-Yrfa School, Cefneithin, before studying Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University with tutors Mihangel Morgan and John Rowlands. She then gained an MPhil in Film and Television before working as a TV Producer for ITV1 Wales, S4C and BBC Wales for 10 years. She currently works as a Senior Press and Media Officer for the Arts Council of Wales. She has recently re-written her Welsh language title Ffreshars (Gwasg Gomer, 2008) into English Freshers (Gomer, 2010).
