GRENFELL, JOHN LEE

John Lee GrenfellJohn Lee Grenfell was born in Pontypridd in 1968. After attending Coedylan Comprehensive School he went on to study chemistry at Lancaster University and subsequently completed a PhD in atmospheric science at Cambridge University. He has worked for the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York City where he contributed to the prediction of global climate change over the coming century. Since 1998 he has worked for the German Space Agency in Berlin investigating potential signatures of life in the atmospheres of planets which lie outside the solar system. John’s poetry has appeared in Poetry Wales, and his recent debut collection has been published by Cinnamon Press. John is a Member of Academi.
