WRIGHT, SIMON
Simon Wright was formerly the editor of the AA Restaurant Guide and now works as a freelance writer and restaurant consultant. He is one of the UK’s most respected food critics, and works as a consultant on Channel 4’s Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. His book Tough Cookies (Profile Books, 2006), which portrays four of Britain’s best and most controversial chefs, won much praise from the media. Simon has since published The Wright Taste with Gomer. It is primarily the narrative of Simon’s foray into farming and is a tie-in to the BBC Wales series of the same name. Simon is a partner in award-winning restaurant Y Polyn near Carmarthen, and lives on his farm nearby.
