Harri Pritchard JonesHarri is respected in both the fields of medicine and literature and is author of fifteen volumes of novels and short stories, as well as works of literary criticism and translation. He is the current joint chair of the Academi. Harri was born in England in 1933 and was educated on the island of Anglesey and in Trinity College, Dublin. He worked as a doctor and a psychiatrist in the Cardiff area. Harri has acted as a judge for Welsh language poetry and literature awards. His work has been translated into seven languages (to date) and has been read on Radio Cymru, Radio Wales, BBC Radio 3 and 4 and Radio Denmark. He has also written several TV scripts. Harri has won prizes from Barn, the National Eisteddfod and the Arts Council. He is a Fellow of the Welsh Academy.
