Priscilla Masters is the author of numerous crime novels. She was born in Halifax and is one of seven adopted children. The family moved to South Wales where she lived until she was sixteen when she went to Birmingham to work and then train as a nurse. She is married to a GP and now lives in Shropshire working part–time as a practice nurse.
