THOMAS, ANEURIN GARETH

Aneurin Gareth ThomasAneurin Gareth Thomas was born in 1963 and brought up in Gorseinon, Swansea, and later in Brecon. He studied Philosophy at the Polytechnic of North London and did a Masters in Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and spent many years in Madrid working as an English teacher, journalist and translator. He currently lives in Brecon. Luggage from Elsewhere (Parthian, 2007) was his first novel. Its sequel is Excess Baggage (Lulu, 2008). Aneurin Gareth is currently finishing off a novel set in present day Madrid; a tragic love story, provisionally titled Foreign Languages. He has also just finished translating the Spanish novel Paper Spurs by Olga Merino into English. Aneurin Gareth is a Member of Academi.
