Judy Corbett trained as an antiquarian book–binder and lives in a medieval castle in the foothills of Snowdonia. She wrote about her and her husband’s experiences of rescuing a crumbling manor house, Gwydir Castle, in Castles in the Air (Ebury, 2005). Envy (Ebury, 2007) is her first novel, and is a dark twist on the coming of age genre.
