EVANS, JOHN
John Evans was born in Barry, South Wales and began his career as a gardener for the local council. After qualifying in commercial horticulture, he became a self–employed landscape gardener, a small–holder in mid-Wales and a City and Guilds lecturer in Bridgend. John later returned to work for local authorities as a housing officer. He is now retired, and lives in Tregaron, Ceredigion. John has written his first novel, entitled Mike and Jan, John and Janet (Book Guild, 2007).
